Enter the Zildjian FX Stacks - a highly versatile pair of cymbals designed to be either played as a stack or in a more traditional hat style set up, opening up a massive variety of sound options to the player. The cymbals feature reverse angled edges to provide fuller contact whilst in a hi hat set up, and are lightweight and thin, producing a bright, high pitch, with short sustain and a pleasing tuneful overtone.

It is this detail that Zildjian bring to their FX range that elevates it from many of their contemporaries effects cymbals; these aren’t just effects designed to pepper or emphasize sparingly. These cymbals offer a rich, melodic musicality that players will utilise to the full and wonder how they got along before without them.

One of the joys of the FX stacks is the inclusion of a Cymbolt mount, designed to easily slip over the threaded rod of most standard cymbal stands so that no additional hardware is required - the stacks are fully functional straight out of the box. The Cymbolt also has a double function -  it can be used to adjust the tension of the cymbal stack so that players have the additional option to fine tune the pitch of the stacks staccato attack as well as the level of wash created whilst in trashy, splashy hi hat mode.
