Each of these cymbals is a complete one-off; once forged from Zildjian’s signature secret alloy formula, the FX Raw Crash is left in its unfinished, unshaped state, giving each cymbal a completely individual look and sound. It receives no hammering, no lathing, no shaping, no edging - just raw, unrefined dryness, an unorthodox - yet mesmerising - aesthetic and a funky, punchy sound.

Visually, the Raw crash is dripping in charisma and individuality. Each has its own streaking, splotching and swirling patterns formed by the raw tempered alloy and still bear the marks caused by the craftsman's tools, left intact to instil even more individuality into its striking appearance. Chalk marks, oven numbers, and other manufacturing marks leave an interesting imprint on each cymbal, enhancing their charm without affecting their sound in any way.
