Just like Gibson’s, the Epiphone Hummingbird is a beautiful acoustic guitar with a large square-shoulder dreadnought shape and an instantly recognisable and now iconic pickguard. This is a big guitar with a loud, proud sound and a power and projection that will blow your socks off. It also has a gentler side that will impress your audiences, producing fine, articulate sounds when required. This is a versatile and dynamic guitar ideal for players that perform in a variety of styles.

Constructed from Mahogany and capped with a Sitka Spruce top, the Epiphone Hummingbird generates a sound as close to its high-end namesake as you could possibly get. The warm, strong fundamental tone of Mahogany is complemented by the vibrancy of the Spruce, resulting in a voice that covers a wide tonal spectrum.  The Epiphone Hummingbird also features a rounded “C” neck with a 24.74” scale fretboard with medium-jumbo frets that provide a smooth and comfortable playing experience.

All of the exquisite Hummingbird properties are present in this guitar, including classy mother of pearl split parallelogram inlays, gold Epiphone deluxe machine heads, a bone nut and saddle and attractive ivory-colour pins. Epiphone has equipped the Hummingbird with a Fishman Sonicore pickup and Sonitone preamp system to faithfully reproduce this acoustics finely-balanced tones. As well as amplifying your sound, it also provides an EQ control that lets you refine your tone and a handy onboard tuner too.
