The Epiphone Slash AFD Les Paul Special II Performance Pack includes everything you need to look and sound like the icon himself. Designed in conjunction with Slash, this pack contains an Epiphone Les Paul Special II in Amber, built to his preference, and comes with everything you need to get started, such as an Epiphone Slash's Snakepit signature amp, a special edition, premium gig bag with Slash’s Snakepit logo, custom Slash signature picks, and even a strap and lead. This finely constructed “AFD” Les Paul Special II (named after the Appetite For Destruction album) is a solid-body Mahogany with a quality AAA Flame Maple veneer top with single layer Ivory binding and finished in Slash’s signature Amber stain. A rich Dark Cherry stain sets off the smooth Mahogany bolt-on neck and a sweet Rosewood fingerboard completes this special combination of tonewoods and produces the classic LP sound as heard on the Appetite album. The Rosewood fingerboard also features a dot acrylic inlay and Slash’s Snakepit logo in a gold silk print on the headstock. The devil’s in the details.

The Slash “AFD” Les Paul Special II carries some great heavy-duty hardware, including a Tune-O-Matic bridge and a Stopbar tailpiece, rock style strap buttons and die-cast machine heads with a 14:1 ratio for quick, easy and accurate tuning. 

The incendiary vintage sound of the Slash AFD Les Paul Special II is generated by a pair of black and white Ceramic Plus Zebra Coil humbucker pickups. To complete the look, the Volume, Tone and Toggle controls all wear Gold TopHat knobs and metal inserts.

A very useful built-in Shadow E-Tuner is integrated into the bridge pickup mounting ring, providing a handy visual aid to help you keep a close eye on your tuning - another great detail that makes this a great guitar for learners and beginners.
