Evans EQ3 Coated 22” Bass Drum Head

The Overtone Control Ring is held firmly in place by a discreet internal flap around the outer edge of the head and applies its brilliant EQ-d qualities to your sound. However, should you find yourself playing in an environment that soaks up your bottom-end you may find that a more open sound would serve you better. In this case, it's a simple and quick task to remove the EQ ring and change up your sound

This particular EQ3 head also features a coated surface that helps to reduce overtones and increase attack. A self-adhesive EQ patch is also included, allowing you to enhance your tone even further and increase the durability of your head. 

The Evans EQ3 Coated 22” Bass Drum Head also features Evans’ unique Level 360 Technology. Unlike other heads, Level 360 heads have roll-over rims that feature a steeper collar, ensuring the most balanced contact with the bearing edge of the shell. This allows for optimised head-shell contact and a better fitting head, resulting in a drum that will be easier to tune and hold its tuning better.
