Faith FKVCD Naked Venus Cedar Top Electro Acoustic Guitar - Natural

This Faith FKVCD Naked Venus Electro Acoustic Guitar shares most of the attributes of the over FKV’s in the range - its natural, naked streamlined looks, comfortable Venus body-shape and rich Mahogany foundation - however, what sets this guitar apart is its solid Cedar top.

With other FKV models featuring Spruce, Mahogany and Trembesi tops, the FKVCD’s Cedar top offers players a different flavour. Used more commonly by classical guitars, Cedar offers a similar sonic performance but a darker presence thanks to its deeper, richer and mellower tones. Its colour and grain is lighter and less compact than that of the Mahogany back and sides and the two tonewoods complement each other very well.

Possessing a perfectly balanced mix of tone, playability and volume, Faith’s “Venus” design has proven to be a popular choice amongst live performers. Taking inspiration from classic OM and Auditorium body-shapes, the Venus shape features a smaller lower-bout, slimmer depth and single cutaway. Comfortable and handleable, this guitar resonates well and still produces a big, loud sound for its size - no matter how overly-energetic your on-stage shenanigans get.

Part of Faith’s ‘Naked’ series, the FKVCD has had any non-essential components and cosmetics stripped away for the most natural resonance possible. This naked state allows the tonewoods to breathe and resonate to their fullest potential, making the most of their raw qualities and resulting in a tonally-rich instrument of a quality far above the usual standards expected at this price level. The FKVCD also features black fittings and hardware for a classy, sophisticated look.

The FKVCD is the ideal guitar for on-stage performances of any size thanks to its Fishman Presys-T preamp system and Sonicore pickup. This great little preamp features a Volume control, Phase button, integrated tuner and contour EQ control with a contour button so you can scoop out bass, mids or treble at a few easy touches of a button.
