Gibson ES-345 Electric Guitar - Sixties Cherry

The Gibson ES-345 is a handsome semi-hollow guitar featuring a Maple centre block. The ES-345 shares its body design with the infamous ES-335, but boasts a few aesthetic enhancements that give it a different flavour. 

The ES-345’s body is crafted from 3-ply Maple/Poplar/Maple, with a Maple centre block and quarter-sawn Adirondack Spruce bracing. The centre block does a fantastic job of reducing unwanted feedback and expanding tonal capabilities, whilst keeping the guitar lightweight and easy to manage. The body also features multi-ply binding, while the Mahogany neck - shaped with a rounded ‘C’ profile - boasts binding and attractive split parallelogram inlays that can only be found on this ES model.

Gibson has seen fit to equip this beauty with an array of high-end appointments such as their new Calibrated T-Type humbucking pickups, Vintage Deluxe style tuners and a and lightweight aluminium ABR-1 bridge and Stop Bar tailpiece anchored with steel thumb-wheels and studs - and of course, the tried-and-true hand-wired control assembly including Orange Drop capacitors.
