Crafted from Baltic Birch, this is a beautiful sounding cajon. The highs are crisp and cutting, and is perfectly contrasting against the deep and substantial lows. What are particularly impressive are the hand wound pre-tuned strings, wound in the style of the master cajon builder José Hernández Diaz. These deliver the well sought after snare crack, while still delivering the authentic Latin cajon sound. Partnered with the bass reflex system, this cajon is a real powerhouse. However, comfort is not sacrificed for sound. This cajon feels smooth to play, with a rounded front plate, rounded corners and thumb notches in the top so to prevent playing fatigue, even in the longest of gigs. With the front plate finished in a Dark Red Burst, this cajon looks as stunning as it sounds, and you’ll always be proud to perform with this cajon.
