We love the Meinl Byzance Vintage series here at Wembley Music Centre. The sandblasted top and partially lathed bottom results in a dark sounding cymbal which is packed full of warmth while remaining vintage and dry. With a shorter sustain than you’d expect with a medium weight 20” ride cymbal, this cymbal sits perfectly in the mix and lets each and every articulation sing through the mix, making it particularly perfect for funk and fusion genres. The bell is clear and bright, and the clear hand hammering is a really nice touch to see to give you total confidence that this cymbal will always deliver.
