The CC16DUTRC has a distinctive flavour thanks to its precision dual-lathed surface. A centre ring of wide lathing and an outer ring of narrow lathing produce an amazing degree of musical complexity. The CC16DUTRC has a bright, immediate response, plenty of stick definition, and a loud, full-bodied wash with a somewhat dark character. The computerised dual-lathing and hammering process also helps to create a distinctive look - a dark, patterned centre framed by a smooth, buffed edge.
