Meinl Classics Custom Dual Expanded Cymbal Pack

This Meinl Classics Custom Dual Expanded Cymbal Pack is a four-piece set of rock-configured cymbals designed to fully kit out your drum kit. It includes a set of 14” hi-hats, 16 and 18” crashes, and a 20” ride cymbal, each possessing the Classic Customs Dual signature sound but their own unique character.

Classics Custom Dual cymbals are crafted from B12 bronze alloy and possess a fundamentally warm nature. This warmth is then countered by crisp darkness, instilled in them by a deep hammering process and lathing process. Each cymbal has the series’ signature hybrid quality; a fully-lathed, buffed edge with a dark, wide-lathed centre. This gives each cymbal a broad sonic scope within the parameters of its character.

The Meinl Classics Custom Dual Expanded Cymbal Pack features cymbals with inherent darkness but each possesses a good degree of energy and vibrancy. The 14” hi-hats are deep and dark, yet are underpinned by a fresh, lively sizzle and an intense foot chick. The 16 and 18” crashes are rapid and energetic, exploding into life with a bright burst and falling off smoothly and quickly. The 20” ride cymbal is a little darker with less sizzle but a more defined stick attack and a complex musical wash.
