The Mooer GTRS Standard 800 Electric Guitar is a marvel. This lightweight instrument is made to a high standard from quality components which makes it well worth its modest price tag - but the S800 gives you a lot more than you splash out on; this innovative axe also features an onboard digital system that expands its range of tones and voices and opens up a world of sonic possibilities.

The S-800’s digital system is built around the GTRS Intelligent Processor, a great piece of tech which is the successful result of a union between Mooer’s master guitar builders and digital sound engineers. The processor is controlled by a dedicated mobile application that successfully integrates classic guitar stylings and modern digital sound simulation technology to vastly expand your sonic range. 

Once downloaded to your mobile device, the free GTRS APP provides all of the tools you need in order to shape your guitar tones and aids in live streaming, recording, and practice methods. The GTRS processor utilises Bluetooth technology to connect wirelessly to your smart device so you can easily access the app to customise and shape presets, save them to the guitar and even upload and share with online cloud users. Four presets can be stored on the S800 at any given time and are activated via a push-button pot located just by the guitar's volume and tone pots. This pot features LEDs for easy preset identification, lighting up in different colours as you cycle through the options.  

Underneath the mesmerising sheen of digital dazzle, the S-800 boasts a traditional design and a great build quality that ensures the best possible analogue sound. The combination of an American Basswood body, roasted Canadian Maple neck, and a Rosewood fingerboard provides a good range of tonal depth whether used as a standalone analogue sound or to be used as the basis of your digital manipulation. The body is lightweight and the neck is extremely comfortable in hand, so even if you disregard the S800’s digital elements, you know you have a great instrument in your clutches. To ensure the best possible integration between its analogue and digital elements, Mooer has equipped the S800 with a Custom S-S-H alnico pickup configuration, giving players the best of both worlds. 

Although the GTRS presets are easily cycled through via the easy-to-use pot, Mooer has also developed the GWF4 wireless footswitch (sold separately), giving you hands-free control over your four presets.
