Roland EC-10M El Cajon Mic Processor for Acoustic Cajon
If you saw Roland’s new El-Cajon earlier this year and thought to yourself, “Gee-willikers that’s a nice idea but I already have a beautiful sounding Cajon that I know and love” then this is for you.
The Roland EC-10M is a microphone and foot pedal combined and designed to enhance your cajon sound with samples and FX. It also provides an easy way to plug in to a sound system.
Simple, Portable and Lightweight
The Roland EC-10M is simple and easy to use. Simply attach the clip-on mic to your cajon's sound hole and start playing. This lightweight piece of kit can be used anywhere. It runs on four AAA batteries and saves you valuable space on stage compared to a large mic and stand.
COMBINED PREAMP AND ELECTRIC KIT
The onboard microphone preamp can be used alone or combined with the onboard sounds to create unique and creative sounds. The two sounds can be sent combined (there’s a mix knob to control the levels) or through the two separate out puts (your sound guy will love you).
16 ONBOARD KITS
The EC-10M has 16 included kits featuring favourites such as the famous 808 samples you all know and love. Add some tambourine to your slap or stick a fat 808 kick to your bass sound. The included cardioids condenser is super sensitive and tracks wonderfully, no need to change your playing style!
There’s an extra trigger input to expand your sound possibilities even further. Want to add a kick pedal in without the risk of smashing in your front plate? Here’s your solution. If you use a splitter cable (Roland recommends the PCS-31L) you can have two kicks.
Yea, that’s right. Double kick drum electric Cajon. Welcome to 2016.
BUILT IN LOOPER
And now for the best bit: Built in looper!
Build a groove and then move over to your guitar or keys and jam along with yourself, or as a percussionist lay down a groove (save your hands on that 3 hour function gig) and add some flavour with your hand percussion or switch to another sound set on the cajon.
Use it with your acoustic guitar! The unit works by filters and only one microphone, so it’s super easy to set up with an acoustic guitar or bass too.
