The Roland VAD-103 V-Drums Acoustic Design Hybrid Drum Kit offers the most stripped-down configuration of Roland's VAD series and comes with Roland's TD-07 module, making it more affordable and therefore accessible to players on a lower budget. 

The TD-07 is a fantastic module that generates high-quality realistic sounds. It brings the wooden shells to life and bridges the gap between digital and acoustic drums. The kit has a streamlined configuration and its shallow-depth shells make it compact and portable - ideal for fitting into your home and transporting to gigs and practices. 

The VAD-103 captures the vibe of a traditional acoustic kit and provides an authentic acoustic playing experience combined with the versatility of digital drums. It's a simple one-up-one-down configuration with hats, crash and ride cymbals, and the module features an extra cymbal input should you wish to expand your setup. The 12” snare, 10 and 12” rack toms feature Roland’s acclaimed double-ply tension-adjustable mesh heads, and the 18” kick drum comes with a smart air-damping system. The snare and toms feature independent head and rim zones and mounts on a traditional snare drum stand for a more authentic experience (snare stand sold separately). 

The TD-07 module offers an array of authentic kits for every musical style, all made up of high-quality voices accurately sampled from 143 of the world's finest instruments.  It offers a wide range of editing options that allow you to get right down into the depths of your sound and create unique, personal kits with character and expression. A built-in Coach mode will help you to develop your technique, and the addition of Bluetooth connectivity allows you to stream audio from your phone, tablet or computer so you can play along to your favourite tracks.
