The Roland VAD706 V-Drums Acoustic Design Kit is a five-piece kit featuring Roland's sensational TD-50X sound module and full-sized hand-crafted wood shells that offer a realistic drumming experience never before seen in an electronic format. The TD-50X sound module is an outstanding brain packed with amazing voices, each meticulously sampled from some of the best kits from around the world. Its array of incredibly powerful editing tools provides a plethora of adjustable parameters that enable you to create authentic-sounding, unique kits. You have the power to delve into nearly every aspect of each drum and cymbals sound and edit with precision, and even have a huge amount of control over the ambient sound of your environment through an in-depth virtual mic setup. 

The VAD series features digital snares and ride cymbals that offer unparalleled sensitivity. Not only does the VAD706 come with these rad digital components but also takes them to another level, thanks to the addition of the amazing VH-14D Digital Hi-Hat. Never before has an electronic hi-hat offered such a broad range of sensitivity and sophistication. All of the drum pads are housed in full-size wooden shells that add a sense of body to the look and feel of the kit, as well as generate an acoustic sonic presence that enhances the electronic sounds. Each drum is also fitted with high-quality tension-tunable mesh heads that deliver an extremely authentic response.

Roland has equipped the VAD706 with good potential for expansion, providing four extra auxiliary trigger inputs so you can add on extra toms, cymbals or even an additional bass drum if required.
