The Shure PGA56 Cardioid Dynamic Snare/Tom Microphone is a compact instrument mic ideal for close-miking percussion, such as snare and tom drums. It excels in reproducing uncoloured, clear audio thanks to its flat-response cartridge, and its cardioid polar pattern picks up audio from the source while rejecting unwanted noise from peripheral sound sources.

The PGA56  features an updated design with a black metallic finish and grille and comes with a drum mount, XLR-XLR cable, a zip-up pouch and a swivel joint featuring a quick-release latch similar to bicycle component-locking technology, resulting in quick and easy positioning.
