As of 2022, Squier has been lovingly pumping out affordable versions of Fender’s legendary guitar models for 40 years, and to commemorate the occasion Squier has unveiled special gold and vintage edition versions of the Strat, Tele, Jazzmaster, P-Bass and J-Bass.

This Squier 40th Anniversary Telecaster Electric Guitar is the Gold Edition model, as made apparent by the absolutely stunning burnished gold-plated hardware and gold anodised aluminium pickguard. Any Telecaster - or Squier - fan will be proud to have this guitar at the centre of their collection. Its smooth Maple neck is capped by a bound Indian Laurel fingerboard featuring pearloid block inlays and the neckplate is engraved with a commemorative 40th-anniversary logo.

Thanks to a slim and comfortable “C”-shaped neck profile, vintage-style tuning machines and 3-saddle string-through-body bridge, this Tele performs like a dream, and its Fender-designed single-coil pickups with alnico 5 magnets generate an authentic Tele tone.
