From the 'Fat Spruce' name we guessed that it'd have a big, chunky sound and we certainly were not left disappointed.

A huge sounding, punchy, highly powerful and noticeably different tone to the more widely used tonewoods - such as Maple, Birch or Mahogany - yet not so different that it isn't ideal for all your every day genres - this Spruce snare is an option to really set your unique sound apart from other players out there.

Super sturdy Die-Cast Hoops and an efficient Linear-Drive snare strainer add to the professional feeling of this drum and provide reliable and consistant tuning.
