The tilter uses metal-plate friction instead of traditional gears, providing a firm hold at any angle you desire. The Swivel basket feature allows the snare basket to rotate independently from the stand base and basket angle, so if you need to reposition your throw-off while playing you can do so with ease. What's more, the basket arms are asymmetrically spaced to allow a good hold on drums with different lug counts.
