Tama Starclassic Performer Maple/Birch 22” 5-Piece Drum Shell Pack - Dark Cherry Fade

The Starclassic Performer uses Tama’s awesome Starclassic Maple spec as its foundation but adds its own unique flavour to the mix. The Tama Starclassic Performer Maple/Birch 22” 5-Piece Drum Shell Pack features shells crafted from a hybrid of Maple and Birch that successfully blends the mellow warmth of Birch with the snappy vibrancy of Maple. This combination is a perfect match-up that gives the Starclassic Performer a unique edge.

This kit has a 2-up, 2-down configuration that covers a broad tonal spectrum. It consists of a 10 x 7” rack tom, 12 x 8” rack tom, 14 x 12” floor tom, 16 x 14” floor tom and a 22 x 16” bass drum.

Each tom is fitted with Tama’s die-cast hoops and the rack toms feature Tama’s Star-Cast mounting system that allows each tom great freedom to resonate. All of the floor tom legs feature air pocket rubber feet that reduce vibration transfer. The bass drum features rubber-based claw hooks that reduce rattling, and spur brackets with memory markers to help keep your setup consistent and easy. Each shell is fitted with Evans drumheads for a versatile, high-quality sound. 

This kit possesses all of the properties a prolific gigging drummer needs should expect from a live kit and a quality sound that will perform excellently under close-mic scrutiny.
