The Tanglewood TW40OANE Sundance Historic Folk Electro Acoustic Guitar draws its understated style from instruments of the 1940s, and owes its authentic tone and simple, authentic aesthetic to the talents of master luthier Michael Sanden.

The TW40OANE is a fine guitar with a solid Spruce top and Mahogany back and sides. This combination of tonewood is a tried and well-tested one, delivering an even, bright tone. Thanks to its Orchestra body shape, this guitar projects with plenty of body and volume, yet is still very manageable and comfortable. Its Spruce top is aged, tuned and braced to produce the finest, most authentic sound possible with a wonderful ‘40s lilt.

This beautiful guitar also features a soft v-shape neck, bone nut and saddle, Waverly-style open gear tuners, a vintage sunburst gloss finish and a Fishman Presys preamp system so you can amp up and spread the guitar's awesome sound to a wider audience. The preamp features Volume, Bass, Mid and Treble controls, a Phase switch, and a built-in tuner with LED display. Presys preamps also include a Fishman Sonicore pickup, a low battery indicator, low profile control knobs and a unique pivot design for easy access to the battery compartment.

This guitar also comes with a semi-rigid deluxe foam branded case to help keep it safe and secure.
