Yamaha Stage Custom 20” 5-Piece Drum Shell Pack is a lovely bundle of high-quality kit at a fantastic price. These shells offer players on a lower budget the opportunity to get their hands on a high-performance kit that will serve them well for a long time to come - be they a beginner or a professional. This kit consists of a 20 x 17” bass drum, 14 x 5.5” snare,  10 x 7” rack tom, 12 x 8” rack tom, a 14 x 13” floor tom and rack tom mount.

This Stage Custom kit generates Yamaha’s signature all-Birch sound - a low, warm tone with crisp attack. Stage Custom shells are all crafted from 6-plies of 100% premium grade Birch which gives this kit its signature Yamaha sound. All of the shells feature upgraded hardware such as low-mass lugs that allow the shells to vibrate freely for the best possible tone and sustain, and of course, Yamaha has included their YESS mounting system that allows the kit to sing to its full potential. 

The YESS mounting bracket has a minimal contact design to ensure that it inhibits the shell vibration as little as possible. Its position is also vital, and Yamaha ensures each shell has its mounting hardware installed at the best point of the drum to enhance its resonance. Although they make minimal contact with the shell, The YESS mounts provide a super degree of security and stability, without being cumbersome. They don't get in the way of tom positioning and do not hinder the process of changing heads in any way.
