Arguably Fenders cornerstone design, the Stratocaster is a time-honoured classic that needs no introduction. The Player Strat is an updated model that offers an edgier, more modern playability without compromising any of its classic Fender character. 

Shaped to the original spec, the Player Strat’s body is crafted from Alder wood and fitted with a Maple neck and fingerboard. This tonewood combination delivers a wide range of tone that ascends to crystalline highs and plummets into powerful low-end depths. The Player also features an extra fret, so you have a really effective, versatile range from which to shape the perfect sound for almost any genre of music.

This Strats modern sound is generated by a  traditional SSS configuration of Fender Player Series Alnico 5 Strat single-coil pickups. These little dynamos add extra oomph to their authentic Fender tone, delivering a vibrant and modern sound whilst retaining Fender style and character. This guitar also features a dedicated tone control for the bridge pickup, providing an unprecedented degree of tonal options and control.

A smooth two-point tremolo bridge with bent-steel saddles offers fantastically smooth tremolo action and at the base of the neck, there's a gleaming “F”-stamped neck plate - Fender’s hallmark of quality.
